One of the highest-selling motorcycles in the commuter segment, the Hero Splendor Plus is powered by a BS6 compliant 97.2cc, single-cylinder engine. This engine delivers a maximum power of 7.9hp and a peak torque of 8Nm. Stopping power is taken care of by 130mm drum brakes at both ends with IBS technology which is Hero's version of combined braking. The motorcycle rides on 18-inch wheels with tubeless tyres. Splendor Plus is known for providing a comfortable ride and being pocket-friendly because of high mileage figures. The bike sports rather simple but neat looks. It also has a sturdy luggage rack at the back for carrying bags and other belongings. Hero is selling the Splendor Plus in a total of four variants - kick with alloy wheel, self with alloy wheel, self-alloy wheel with i3S and the 100 Million Edition. The price range starts at Rs 62,535 for the kick variant and goes up to Rs 67,845.

In terms of design and styling, the Splendor Plus hasn't received any changes and comes with the same bikini fairing and rectangular headlight. In addition, the manufacturer has introduced new colours to keep its look fresh. Suspension duties are done by telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. With all these updates, the BS6 Splendor Plus is slightly heavier than the BS4 version. The kerb weight now stands at 110kg for kick start version and 112kg for self start variants.

The BS6 Hero Splendor Plus comes with a 9.8-litre fuel tank with i3S technology. Its fuel-injected engine promises better fuel efficiency than the BS4 version. Hero MotoCorp has

Formed as a joint company, it merged the television interests of British Electric Traction (trading as Associated-Rediffusion) owning 49%, and Associated British Picture Corporation—soon taken over by EMI—owning 51%. It was a broadcaster, a producer and a commissioner of television programmes, making shows both for the local region it covered and for networking nationally across the ITV regions. The British Film Institute describes Thames as having "served the capital and the network with a long-running, broad-based and extensive series of programmes, several of which either continue or are well-remembered

The British Film Institute describes Thames as having "served the capital and the network with a long-running, broad-based and extensive series of programmes, several of which either continue or are well-remembered today."[1] Thames covered a broad spectrum of commercial public-service television, with a strong mix of drama, current affairs and comedy.

After Thames was acquired by FremantleMedia it was merged with another Fremantle company, Talkback Productions, to form a new independent production company, Talkback Thames; consequently, Thames ceased to exist as a separate entity. However, on 1 January 2012, the Thames brand was revived and Talkback Thames has now been split into four different labels: Boundless, Retort, Talkback and Thames, within the newly created FremantleMedia UK production arm.
